For Family Home Evening we were trying to teach Ryan and Kayli about putting on the whole armor of God. As many know, they love to dress up. So we help them dress up with the different armor parts, we had to adapt and make due with what creativity I had (or lack of). In the scriptures it says that we need to have: your loins girt about with truth, breastplate of righteousness, feet shod with preparation, shild of faith, helmet of salvation, sword of spirit. ..."take upon you my whole armor, that ye may be able to withstand the evil day, having done all, they ye may be able to stand." (D&C 27:15-18) We hope they learned and understood some, if nothing else we all had fun!
